Scalpel has a user mailing list hosted on Google Groups. You can consult the archives here; see below for subscribing instructions.

Scalpel also has a development mailing list, hosted at the sample place. You can consult the archives here.

Subscribing

You can subscribe via the web interface (scalpel-users, scalpel-dev) where you can detail whether you want to receive a daily digest, or rather receive each message like for usual mailing lists.
